Lineage's harem

Led by two half-draught stallions, Lineage and Shadow, this herd is very well protected and provided for. Despite the harem being small at the moment, it is vastly growing and proves to be one of the most successful herds.

Lineage, a 16.5 hh white stallion, provides most of the care and protection for the harem. All decisions are decided by him, including accepting mares and foals. He enjoys the company of mares and occassionaly plays with the foals whenever they seek it. When danger arises, Lineage is the first to get the herd moving and then, depending on how Shadow fares with the danger, may either turn back or keep running with the herd for his harem's safety.

Shadow, a 16.3 hh black stallion and younger twin to Lineage, is very protective of the herd and is always on constant alert for other stallions. He does enjoy the company of mares and sometimes plays with the foals. Whenever danger arises, Shadow is the first to meet with it and drive it away. If Shadow is unable to, Lineage is quick to appear and help out.

Conditions:
~ Mares and foals are immediately accepted.
~ Abandoned foals are accepted and cared for by the entire herd.
~ Male yearlings [1.5-2.5 years] are driven away from the harem but are allowed to stay near the herd until they join a bachelor group.
~ Mares are not force-bred, they may have either stallion sire a foal. [PM for a stallion to sire a foal. All foal-bearing decisions are decided by Haunting Eyes].

Located: Mead Desert [Spring]
